There’s nothing more effective in the pursuit of continuous professional innovation and improvement than convening with colleagues, customers and even competitors to exchange ideas, learn new strategies and soak oneself in an environment rich with thought leaders. It’s even more effective when there is the opportunity to soak oneself in the warm waters of the Atlantic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For this dual purpose (with an overwhelming emphasis on the first soaking), nextSource is very excited to be attending, exhibiting and participating in the VMSA Live: Florida 2016 beginning next week, from February 8th through the 11th.

The mission of the nextSource delegation aligns closely with the mission of the VMS Accelerators event – Continuous improvement of the program including the supply chain of contingent talent via Statement of Work (SOW) projects and staffing assignments. As attendees, nextSource will be immersing themselves in panel discussions on such relevant topics as “Visions for the Future of Contingent Talent Management” and other tracks dedicated to enterprise level tech solutions and platforms for talent acquisition and SOW management.

As exhibitors, nextSource will maintain a booth on the show floor and some of our subject matter experts will be on hand to demonstrate and explain the benefits of nextSource’s new, SOW assessment tool. With SOW enjoying a significant uptick in adoption as an element of the contemporary workforce management program, there is exceptional interest among the entire contingent workforce management community in strategies, tools and processes for improving the efficient procurement, management and measurement of SOW resources.

As participants, nextSource will be joined by VMSA’s Michael Matherly to kick off the SOW Program Practitioner Track which will include a Procurement Leaders’ Debrief, and Category Management Deep Dives. The speakers for this exciting track include SOW procurement experts from Caterpillar, MetLife and Shell Oil who will share their respective organizations’ experiences with SOW procurement and the valuable lessons they’ve learned along the way.

The VMS Accelerators event is one of the leading programs in the country dedicated to these disciplines. That’s why the conference has exploded in popularity, growing from 40 people to 350 people including 30 Buyers, 45 MSPs and 230 staffing executives across 5 countries. You’re cordially invited to spend a few days with us in Fort Lauderdale. And if you cannot make the trip, check back to the nextSource blog for highlights and reports logged from our delegation upon their return.
